Fake Cards Putting the Wrong People in the Workplace

An article highlighting the use of fake cards on a building site.  It is pleasing to see some positive action in relation to cards of this nature.  

Whilst the cards may (or may not) have been created in a legitimate identity, the issue revolves around the fact that they are required to fulfil a function.  If a person does not have the appropriate skills to obtain a legitimate card, then ultimately they are not the right person for the job.  

Even low quality documents (such as these cards) should have some level of internal security, or some other form of verifiability, which could be checked.  The workplace then needs the right protocols and skills in place to complete a document check or verification.
