Audience:  Forensic document examiners or staff working in developing document examination laboratories.

Course duration: 4 days

Purpose:  In structuring this course, modules have been selected to educate forensic document examiners who are continuing to build and develop their skills, and to assist countries and organisations that have more recently established, or are in the process of establishing, document examination laboratories. 

The objective of this course is to explore the participant's current understanding, and to reinforce and challenge their knowledge and skills. Participants are expected to apply their knowledge to a range of activities, contribute to group discussions and debate with fellow participants.

Note: This course does not provide a qualification in document examination. 

 

Handwriting and signature skills development workshop.

Audience:  Forensic document examiners.

Course duration: 4 days

Purpose:  In structuring this course, modules have been selected that are essential in educating forensic document examiners who are developing and further expanding their knowledge and skills in handwriting and signature examinations, or challenging their methods and reporting practices.

The objective of this course is to explore the participant’s current understanding, and to both reinforce and challenge their knowledge and skills. Participants are expected to apply their knowledge to a range of activities, contribute to group discussions, and debate with fellow participants.

Security document examination skills development workshop. 

Audience:  Border control officers.

Course duration: 4 days

Purpose:  In structuring this course, modules have been selected to educate border control officers who are developing, or building on, knowledge and skills required to understand and examine identity and security documents in the workplace.

The objective of this course is to explore the participant's current understanding, and to reinforce and challenge their knowledge and skills. Participants are expected to apply their knowledge to a range of activities, contribute to group discussions, and debate with fellow participants.
