Our experts provide strong contributions to national and international projects, including capacity building activities associated with documents and their examination
Building on long -standing domestic and international relationships, our experts – John McGinn and Tonya Trubshoe – provide practical and theoretical support to projects in the areas of:
- document examination education programme development;
- business practices review; and,
- document security feature integrity evaluation.
Past achievements include the development and delivery of successful international workshops for forums such as The Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime (Bali Process) and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) whilst within government employment, with this experience now being available in the private sector.
Maintaining a strong commitment and ongoing contribution to international activities, our experts are currently contributing to projects being delivered by non-government organisations, including UNODC and IOM.
In collaborative efforts with specialist document security industry providers, they provide the required logistical and technical support to the development of practical and meaningful workshops to government forensic document examiners and other interested parties.
Document Examination Solutions has worked successfully with the National Centre for Forensic Studies (NCFS) to see advanced document examination training workshops delivered to international forensic document examiners in support of Australian Federal Police and broader government initiatives. These workshops have been delivered both in Australia and internationally.
Our experience is extensive, having been drawn on in the development of international guidelines in document examination, the completion of training needs assessments and the conceptualisation and delivery of modern training products to meet challenging briefs.
